Buckinghamshire Economic & Learning Partnership (BELP) aims to promote the sustainable economic development of Buckinghamshire.

BELP is a lobbying organisation and "think-tank", bringing together the private sector, public authorities and the community to ensure Buckinghamshire remains a thriving and prosperous place in which to live and work.

BELP is a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee. The company has a private-sector led Board of Directors, drawn from a cross-section of local businesses, together with representatives of local authorities and community groups.

Bucks Business Challenge Fund

Please note that as a direct consequence of the cuts imposed on Local Government, we have unfortunately had to withdraw the BCC Business Challenge Fund as LABGI (Local Authority Business Growth Incentive) funds have been withdrawn by Central Government.

Recognising that this is a major blow to our local small business economy, especially at a time when we are trying to support growth and expansion, we will look to ways in which we can support Buckinghamshire businesses and will keep you informed of any successes we have.

'Better Broadband for Bucks'

BELP is currently co-ordinating a questionnaire to promote the provision of High Speed Broadband within the county, in particular to those areas which are not well provided for by the main commerical suppliers. We wish to understand in more detail the demand and expectations for Broadband in these areas in order to accelerate provision, including potential direct investment. To take part in this questionnaire please click the link below. If you would also like to find out more about our broadband initiative in Bucks please click here.
